Salmon is a highly nutritious and highly palatable protein source for cats. Salmon is a complete protein source, meaning it contains all the essential amino acids cats need to consume in their diet for optimal health. It is also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which reduces inflammation, as well improves the health of the skin, coat and kidneys. Salmon contains an abundance of vitamins and minerals which promote overall feline health, which include vitamin A, B6 and B12, as well as potassium, selenium and niacin.
Salmon is considered a 'novel' protein for cats. This means cats generally have not developed intolerances or allergies towards it. This makes salmon a great protein choice for cats who suffer from sensitive stomachs, common allergies and intolerances.
High-quality raw turkey liver and beef offal add a highly enjoyable taste for cats, as well as a boost of nutrients to the recipe. Rich in riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, copper, selenium and iron, these raw ingredients add essential nutrition to our raw cat food.
At Nutriment, we are advocates of including digestion-friendly superfoods in our raw cat food products. Our raw beef cat food formula includes salmon oil, spirulina and raw sea kelp powder, which are packed with nutrients including protein, Omega-3, vitamin K, riboflavin, folate, calcium, iron and magnesium, which all contribute to optimal feline health and wellbeing.
Our Dinner for Cats range is also suitable for dogs.
