Both rabbit and turkey are lean meats which are naturally low in fat whilst being rich in quality protein. This makes them both great choices of protein for cats, and particularly recommended for cats who are overweight or suffer from weight related conditions.

Rabbit meat and offal is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which promote a healthy coat and skin for your cat, as well as vitamin B3 and B12, potassium and selenium. Turkey is also packed with essential nutrients such as niacin, vitamin B6, selenium and phosphorous, which are crucial, for optimal nervous system and immune system health, as well as contributing to the health of the thyroid, bones, skin, teeth, coat and blood. The ground bone also contributes to oral hygiene and health.

Rabbit is considered a 'novel' protein for cats. This means cats generally have not developed intolerances or allergies towards it. This makes rabbit a great protein choice for cats who suffer from sensitive stomachs, common allergies and intolerances.

High-quality turkey offal (heart and liver) adds a highly enjoyable taste for cats, as well as a boost of nutrients to the recipe. Rich in riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, selenium and iron, these raw ingredients add essential nutrition to our raw cat food.
