Nutriment raw dog food: FAQs

What does your raw dog food contain?

Feeding a raw food diet for dogs means serving up meals that contain only what your dog needs. Our complete raw recipes contain at least 80% meat, including bone and offal, with the remaining ingredients consisting of vegetables and supplements.

Which is the best raw meat dog food?

Meat is the most biologically appropriate protein source for dogs.
Feeding our raw dog food means you'll be able to choose between different meats according to your dog's breed, life stage and levels of daily activity. It's also important to offer your dog a variety of different proteins, since the same one can trigger intolerances and boredom.
Our varied selection caters for dogs who have allergies or simply preferences for certain meats. No matter which one you choose, you can trust Nutriment meats to contain only biologically appropriate ingredients.

Which meat should I choose?

We've built Starter Packs to help you find the most suitable raw dog food. Here are some of the meats we use and why they could work for your dog:

• Raw fish for dogs makes a popular option for those with sensitive tummies, often linked to diets containing large amounts of grain or poultry.

• Raw chicken for dogs is a great protein choice. Easily digestible and packed with lean protein and amino acids, chicken supports overall health and energy, too.

• Raw lamb for dogs makes a brilliant choice for dogs who might need a diet that's lower in fat. It contains plenty of essential vitamins and minerals, and high protein levels too.

• Raw beef for dogs is high in protein and essential nutrients. It's also one of the most densely calorific meats, ideal for pets or working dogs with high energy requirements.

Whether your dog has a specific health condition or you're looking to enrich a homemade raw recipe, our supplements cater for a range of dietary needs.

Can I give raw dog food as a treat?

Yes, you can!

Whether you're enriching a raw diet or giving your dog something new to try, our natural dog treats make a fantastic choice. These products are a great way to introduce novel proteins into your dog's diet, which can help in keeping allergies and intolerances at bay. Just make sure to introduce anything new gradually and supervise your dog while they chew tougher treats.

What if I change my mind?
