Together We Care — You Buy, We Donate
At Nutriment, we believe every pet deserves real food, wholesome, natural, and nourishing. Sadly, thousands of dogs and cats in the UK don’t have access to that kind of care. Many arrive at rescues hungry, anxious, and malnourished, but together, we can change that.
In 2024, thanks to you, we donated over 25,000 nutritious meals to rescue animals across the UK. This year, we’re setting our sights even higher, because together, we care.
How it Works
Throughout November 2025, every time you purchase 10 kg of Nutriment raw food, whether online or from one of our stockists, we’ll donate one meal to animals in need.
That means:
Every order directly helps a rescue dog or cat.
Every purchase fuels recovery, healing, and hope.
Every customer becomes part of an incredible rescue story.
Your dog gets the very best nutrition, and another gets a second chance at life.
WINNIE PEG
4 years old
Her story
Winnie peg is a staffy cross whippet, she is the most loving dog ever, she is forever asking for cuddles and will return the most love in the world, back to you. When she’s running in the field, she will run straight up to you asking for a stroke! When she’s comfortable at home, she has a rather quirky way of asking to be pet, she has a specific growl, which is her way of asking for some love.
Despite her loving nature, some vile abomination of the human race threw her off Brighton Pier. She was also homeless before this, and it was suspected that the owners were on drugs.
A member of the public saw the incident in which she was thrown off the pier, and kept Winnie Peg safe until Flori’s Friends were able to pick her up.
She has a broken spine, is incontinent, has a few missing toes, weakened carpol, and has had a lot of surgeries to help improve her health.
She has a leg brace which helps to support her whilst walking.
Winnie is a permanent resident at Flori’s Friends Rescue, but isn’t terminal! Her health isn’t declining and doing so well with physio that helps manage her pain and mobility. Due to her loving confident nature and the joy she brings to everyone she meets, she does a lot of PR events as their mascot!

SUMMER
7 years old
Her story
Summer, just like her name, is a ray of sunshine. With such a gentle soul, she is quieter and more reserved by nature, but you can feel the warmth of her love shining through whenever spending time with her. She is such a special dog, and has the biggest puppy eyes ever, she is such a hidden gem.
Summer came to Flori’s Friends Rescue because her previous owner beat her with a baseball bat, breaking her legs and was left abandoned in the road…
She is the longest resident, having been cared for by Flori’s Friends rescue for five years, as a permanent resident. Like many of the other dogs, she has a broken spine, shattered carpal and is incontinent.
Despite her past, her health isn’t declining and she often joins Winnie Peg in going to nursing homes where she spreads her warmth and love to the elderly residents there.
Real Stories, Real Impact
PATSY
8 years old
Her story
One of the managers from Flori’s Friends children was walking home from school. Patsy followed her all the way home from school. She picked the right person to follow!
Patsy had had her legs chopped off by some disgusting human being, and it turned out her spine was also broken.
She has been at the rescue for 2 years, and will remain a permanent resident due to the amount of care she needs. Like many other dogs in the rescue, she needs a lot of daily care from a professional. Unfortunately, if she were put in the hands of the average Joe, she wouldn't survive, as the professionals at Flori’s Friends Rescue are trained to notice when something is wrong with the dogs.
As all of the dogs there don’t have their back legs and tails, their body language has to be read differently.
Patsy has hydrotherapy and physiotherapy, is on a lot of medication and has a specific diet for her IBD. Dogs with IBD can only eat raw food and can only have fish-based treats, such as sprats. Raw is the only food that helps to managed IBD flare ups in dogs.
Patsy is a very special dog, because soon she is to be the first dog in the UK who will have a bladder emptying device put in. Only one dog in America has had this device, and the rest have only been tested on humans. Patsy could be very important in breaking history and improving a lot of dogs lives! If the device succeeds, she will not longer be terminal.
