What are the benefits of Nutriment Fresh for dogs?

Combat arthritis & bone disease

A diet low in carbohydrates and high in essential and omega fatty acids is known to reduce the likelihood of dogs developing arthritis and bone disease by reducing inflammation. Our Fresh range is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.

Sensitivities

Some of the most common skin issues in dogs, including sores, rashes and general discomfort, can be triggered by food allergies. Nutriment Fresh dog food is made only with fresh meat and vegetables. It's wholesome, easily digestible, even for dogs with sensitivites.

Digestion

Dogs' digestive systems are not designed to deal with processed foods, meaning our Fresh range is easier on their stomachs. The strain your pet's body is put through trying to digest grains and other heavily processed meats can be a thing of the past.

Fresh foods are easily digestible, resulting in smaller stools that are firm, fewer and less smelly.

How is Nutriment Fresh made?

Nutriment Fresh is gently steamed at low temperatures and immediately frozen to lock in the essential nutrients. Along with improved nutrient retention, steamed food is often easier for dogs to digest and tastier to eat.

After being gently cooked, our fresh meals are frozen in 40g medallion portions. They maintain all the tantalising natural flavours and textures of quality meat.

Our pre-portioned fresh dog food is packed with real meat and tasty vegetables. Simply take out what you need, reseal the bag and pop it back into the freezer. You can serve the medallion as soon as it's fully defrosted,

How much fresh dog food should I feed my dog?

We recommend that you feed your dog between 2 and 3.5% if their ideal bodyweight as an adult. If your dog is very active or still growing, you might need to feed a little bit more.

Most dogs over the age of 6 months should eat twice a day, but every dog is different. You know your dog better than anyone. For our feeding guide for Nutriment Fresh please refer to the product images.

Fresh dog food: FAQs

Do you have a minimum order for fresh dog food delivery?

To ensure your fresh dog food order arrives without defrosting, we only deliver orders of 5kg or above. You can still Click & Collect orders under 5kg from our Factory Outlet in Camberley (GU15 2QR).

How do I switch my dog to fresh food?

We recommend starting with one meal a day. For example, feed your dog a fresh breakfast and see how they get on.

For dogs with sensitive tummies, you might need to start even more gradually than this – for example, working up from just one spoonful. Don't forget to decrease their old food as you add more Nutriment
Fresh.

What are the benefits of switching to freshly cooked dog food?
