Are you wondering what to do with left over pumpkin this Halloween?

We have 3 delicious recipes for you to try! You can use stuff-able toys for these tasty treats - or make them Halloween themed by using moulds. You can give these as treats (if your dog gives you a trick!) or as a topper for their dinner to make it that little bit more special.

Did you know?

Pumpkin is a nutritious vegetable for dogs and is often used to support heathy digestion – hence why we use Butternut Squash in our core formulas! Pumpkin is also an excellent source of fibre plus it contains Vitamin A, B6, C, E, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese - so action packed with goodness.

All the pumpkin in these recipes has been used raw and has been blended to a pulp - seeds included.

Hearty Pumpkin Ghosts

You need

  • Turkey hearts
  • Turmeric
  • Pureed Pumpkin
  • Ghost shaped mould (or similar)

Chop a turkey heart and blend with a half a cup of the pureed pumpkin, with half a teaspoon of turmeric for colour. Fill your ice cube tray or silicon mould for a delicious treat. Freeze and serve frozen.

Dried Liver & Pumpkin Bones with Blueberry

Mix the liquid coconut oil with pureed pumpkin, fill your mould halfway, then sprinkle some turkey liver crumbs. Add another layer of the coconut pumpkin mix. Finish off with a blueberry and a dusting of Leo & Wolf BARF Complete. Freeze and serve frozen.
